Luke Cascadden, Varsity Boys Lacrosse, dominated the field, going 11 for 13 on face-offs against Manhasset and giving the team the advantage in time of possession. His crucial goal not only extended the lead but also ignited the momentum, propelling Garden City to a 7-2 victory in the Woodstick Classic.
Tori Ottomanelli, Varsity Girls Lacrosse, displayed sheer brilliance throughout the week. She kicked off with a stellar performance, scoring 3 goals against Darien (CT), one of the nation’s top programs. Tori then capped off the week with a breathtaking display, netting 3 goals against Manhasset, including an electrifying overtime game-winning goal that secured a thrilling 9-8 victory for the Garden City Girls in the Woodstick Classic!
Braden Soutar, Varsity Baseball, delivered clutch moments when it mattered most. His remarkable 9 RBIs in a three-game series against Roslyn showcased his skills. Notably his POWER, his two-run homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning, with the Trojans trailing 2-0, turned the tide dramatically. The blast over right-center not only tied the game but also propelled the Trojans to a sensational victory, completing a series sweep.
