Garden City, February 6, 2024—In a thrilling display of speed, endurance, and teamwork, the Garden City High School Indoor Track 4×800 relay team emerged victorious at the Nassau County Class B Championship held at St. Anthony’s High School on February 6, 2024. The remarkable achievement of this talented quartet—Sophia Erigo, Jen Roller, Taylor Maguire, and Kyra Lekanides—has not only brought glory to Garden City but also underscored the team’s dedication and prowess on the track.

From the starting gun to the final stretch, the Garden City relay team exhibited exceptional coordination and determination, setting a blistering pace and leaving their competitors trailing in their wake. With each seamless handoff, the team showcased precision and timing honed through hours of rigorous training and preparation.
